Australia: Road trip from Brisbane to Perth

I used to live in Brisbane, Australia from July 2007 to June 2010. In November 2007, with two friends, we decided to cross the country from East to South West on a very tight budget.

The first thing to manage was to find the perfect minivan that would allow us to live this amazing adventure. We decided to bring back a van to  Adelaide from Brisbane with a stop over in Tennant Creek, Copper Pedy, Alice Springs and… Uluru!!

This “sublease” of the van was the cheapest option as it costed us only 1$/per so we only had to buy petrol on the way and food. Here are our roadtrip pics:

More than 6000  km , days and days of driving through the famous Outback…

Beautiful landscapes; sunsets, sunrises, colours…..

At the end of our roadtrip, in Adelaide, we went for a refreshing swim into the Ocean before our flight to Perth!
